Landing In Sydney, Australia Chapter One: Landing in Sydney, Australia The air was as warm as blankets that had been drowned in humidity as the sticky wetness of the weather stuck to my skin, making me itch. "It's going to be lovely here!" My mum exclaimed, looking over to me and smiling a little too friendly. I nodded, cringing at how much our English accents stuck out in this country. I looked around, loads of girls were walking around with their small shirts cut up to just below their boobs, exposing their toned stomachs with the ridiculous tan and their booty shorts that didn't even look like there was fabric to them as they rode up their bum, unable to be seen. I felt like being sick. How can someone let themselves go? I thought to myself, staring down at my stonewashed jeans that clung to my slightly chubby legs. I felt slightly jealous being surrounded by these types of girls. Skinny and looking like models. It was always raining in England, or so windy that you had to dress as if it was constantly snowing because of the depressingly low temperatures. Australia was totally different. "Woah, sorry!" I was knocked out my trance of anxious thinking as I fell forwards, only just enough time breaking my fall so that I could place my hands out in front of me to block me and the ground from colliding. I found myself face to face with the slightly scorching sand. I turned my head around, startled by the big hand held out in front of me. I took it as I was launched up in the air by a strong arm. The boy in front of me wasn't bad looking, he had beach blonde hair stuck up in a perfect quiff, crystal eyes that matched the ocean and a metal lip ring stuck inside his mouth, visibly scratched as the boy took it between his teeth, biting down on it and chuckling. He was gorgeous. I instantly checked for tattoos and other piercings, but it seemed as all he had was that prefect jock quiff, them satanically blue eyes and a black lip ring. Not to mention the stupid goofy smile that was plastered on his face which looked annoyingly cute. I could barely get my voice out to say that it was okay, I was mesmerised by him. My mum had left to go to our house that we rented. I was so glad I knew where it was as I took off, running down the streets and away from the crowded beach, dodging the tall boys and pretty girls in order to get to our beach house as fast as I could to avoid any other incidents. Talk about being awkward. I ran through the front door and panted, knocking my foot against it and slamming it shut. I huffed, running a hand through my knotty hair as I sat down on the kitchen table, grabbing the glass of lemonade that was near me, not caring who it belonged to as I downed it, the slight sourness stinging my throat. "Oh, you're home. Good, I've just put some dinner on." I nodded at my mum, the accident with the boy replaying in my mind, causing a deep redness to overcome by cheeks. I hid my head in my hands and began to feel really embarrassed. I hope I never see him again, or any boy again, in my existence. I jumped as my dog started barking, nudging her wet nose against my hand. I laughed, stroking her soft head. "Sorry, girl." I muttered as she jumped up, digging her paws into my thighs and licking my neck, making me back away from me with a large smile on my face. "You wanna play?" I was just about to jump down from the wooden table to grab her ball when my mum stopped me, not even bothering to look at me when she spoke. "I don't think so, you have homework to do. Your laptop is upstairs as per usual. Maths is quite hard so read over each question twice. I'll call you when the foods done." I sighed, giving my dog an apologetic look as if she would understand before I brushed past her and made my way up the stairs in silence. "Oh, and look for schools, we didn't move here so you could get off easy with education, you know!" She added before silence filled the air. I ignored her comments as I made my way into my darkly decorated bedroom. I was never ones for crazy colours and outgoing patterns, I wasn't really a normal teenager. I didn't prefer to cry over soppy romance books and movies or fangirl over Jacob from twilight and get annoyed at Bella and Edward. In fact, I didn't even know what the term fangirling meant, all I had in mind is it was when you lose control over a slightly good looking boy and that was it, I didn't exactly know what went on when you done this fangirling thing. It sounded foreign. I forgot about homework as I grabbed my laptop and clicked onto my Facebook, looking through my wall at all the silly girl arguments people were having and reading through the sweet 'I miss you' messages from old friends back home. After replying to a few a new text popped up from my most missed best friend, Amelia. 'There's this amazing school near where you are called Woodlands High School. Apparently there's really fit boys there and the education is great. Not to mention they have huge parties after every year! You should totally ask your mum to sign you up for that!' I read over the message, furrowing my eyebrows as I cocked my head to the side, thinking of the idea. School did seem like a good idea, I mean education didn't really mean much to me and never did, but I could try and make new friends. I searched up the name of the school, chewing on my fingernails and suddenly feeling nervous about starting education here in the middle of Australia where I didn't know anyone. After I'd looked over the school and its history I decided I could try and convince my mum I wanted to attend it. It seemed nice and educating, although it didn't read anything about the students at the school. My eyes widened in anxiety as I started to wonder if that boy who ran into me would go to school there. I didn't even pick up his accent that well, was he even Australian? I shut my laptop and made my way downstairs as my mum was just in the middle of calling out my name. "Mum do you think I could-" I didn't even get to finish my sentence before she cut me off, gesturing towards the table. "I called your name 5 times, I was about to go up there and drag you out of your room. What were you doing, sleeping?!" She exclaimed before breathing in a deep breath and sighing. "You know what? Just eat your dinner." I stayed silent as I slumped into the seat and started picking at the food in front of me. Why did I have to be born the awkward one?

New Student (5 Seconds Of Summer) Description: Isabella Jordani-Rosellae Goldstone is an innocent, socially awkward 17 year old who had just moved to Australia from England, attempting to settle in comfortably with every outgoing student at the crazy school in Sydney. Fitting into big crowds isn't always easiest when you're practically the worlds biggest outcast in the history of outcasts. Unfortunately, Sex Education is the first lesson on the day in her stay at the school. Talk about awkward, right? She meets Elizabeth, Rebecca and Bethany - the school sluts who get it on with every male in their sight, so you can definitely cross off the school jocks; Ashton, Michael, Calum and Luke on their 'FUCK LIST'. When Isabella runs into Luke on her way to Science, she gets an idea of what him and his friends are like. After constantly telling herself they're nice people, she slowly begins to believe it, but after a huge party which Ashton and Michael set off at school, those impressions quickly change and she grows an overwhelming hate for the boys.
