To Delete Or Not To Delete: That Is The Question I have a dilemma. I am considering deleting my opuss account. I don't have time to post much, and I don't know if it's worth it to keep it. The idea of this account was to inspire, encourage, and challenge you in your faith. Or if you aren't a Christian, it's meant to make you think things like: are you missing something? Is Christianity legit? Have I been doing that? I know for sure that 2 people have really gotten something out of my opusses....are they the only ones? So should I stay? Or should I go? Am I making a difference? I love posting my thoughts and feelings.... But It makes me sad to see all the lost.... Should I go? Or should I stay? Have I helped you in any way? Have I inspired you somehow? Have I helped you solve a dilemma? Should I stay? Or should I go?
My Heart's Desire My heart aches for those who don't know the power of the One who can save. They wander in darkness, looking for purpose. For hope. But they can't find it. My heart breaks when I see the depravity of the world. Others hate the depravity, but they don't know how to stop it. I know the way, but how do I share it when my pleas fall on deaf ears? How do I share hope and truth when they are blind to the light? They say, "be kind and help the poor," and, "this world is terrible, we need to do something to fix it," but there is only One who can stop the decline, only One who can save this world. But that One is rejected and scorned! That One is cast aside and ridiculed. How do I show them the light? I cry tears of longing. I long to see the world turn back to the One who has always been. I long to see that child find hope, and peace. I long to see that man find purpose, and the success he is looking for. I long to show that girl that she is beautiful, and that someone loves her so much He died for her! How do I tell them of the Savior? How do I show them His unconditional love? How do I reach out and touch those who need Him? How do I tell them He is the One? I want you to know the joy of serving Him, of resting in His arms! I want to share the love He's given me, and the grace I've found in His forgiveness. I long for you to claim Him as yours, to be His son or daughter! My heart breaks for you, my friend. You don't know what you're missing. You don't know how your #life could change! You don't know the love, peace, and purpose that He brings! So I cry out to You, my Lord, my Savior, my God. Show them the way. Show them the light. Let me shine bright for You, Lord. Let my testimony bring others to You. Let my #life bring You glory and praise. Give me the words to say, God. Show me how to share your awesome message of saving grace and forgiveness. Touch these lives, Jesus. You are my One and Only, Father, and I pray that Your will be done. Amen.
Rolling Round In The Dirt My little brothers LOVE playing outside. And like most boys, they love playing in the dirt. Once, they came inside covered in mud, from head to toe! It took 2 baths to get them completely clean! But, as little boys love to do, the next day they went back outside and got all muddy again. Our lives are a lot like that. You get dirty, then you try to become clean again, but you always go back to the mud. That's where Jesus comes in. We are muddy, dirty sinners. Jesus is the Son of God, the pure water to wash away our dirtiness. All you have to do is to call on His name and make your Lord and Savior. He will cleanse all the mud and grime, and make you as white as snow. You might think that you're to far gone, that you don't matter, but God loves you, and accepts you just the way you are! No matter what you've done, God will wash it all away, to be forgiven, and forgotten. If you are like me, and already know Him as your Savior, then this next part is for you. Even though we have been saved, we still go out and play in the mud. It's our human nature. We have to constantly come before The Lord, and repent, and wash away all that grime in God's cleansing rain of grace, mercy, and forgiveness. Are you clinging to that mud? I exhort you to go to God, and wash away all the dirt. Don't cling to the mud any longer, but come clean in Gods love, grace, mercy, and forgiveness. It's just a prayer away.
Just Like New Clothes I just got a new job, and that job requires new clothes. Good thing I saved up my babysitting money.... It IS fun buying new things. You get all excited about wearing them, and you can't wait for the next to day to come so you can wear something else new. You get so excited about showing off your new duds that you tell everyone about them... That is the way we should act about Jesus. We are His children! We should get so excited about sharing Him that He pops up in all our conversations. Just like you can say, "Hey, she has new clothes!", others should be able to say, "Hey, there's something different about her," or, if they already know Jesus, they should be able to say, "wow, she really lives her faith! I should be more faithful as well." We show Jesus through our actions. You can argue for the cause of Christ all you want, but if they don't SEE Christ in you, they are just going to write you off. As Christians, our lives should reflect Christ in EVERYTHING we do. Would you see Christ in YOUR #life? It's something to think about.
