Breaking Dawn: Jessica's POV "Jessica!" My mom calls up the stairs. I stretch out and sit up. "What?" I call back. "Get up! You're meeting Mike today, remember?" I do remember. "Shoot!" I jump out of bed and throw on the simplest clothes I can find. I run down the stairs. There's a small rectangle card waiting for me on the kitchen table. I pick it up and look at it. I read the words Isabella Marie Swan, Edward Anthony Masen Cullen, request the honour of your presence at the celebration of their marriage, then I scream and drop the card like it's stung me. "Oh. My. God." I say. "Jessica, what's wrong?" My mom asks. "Edward and Bella are getting married tomorrow." "Hey Mike." I walk up to him down at La Push, keeping my head down. "Hey Jess!" He tries to high five me, but not noticing that my head is down, hits me hard on the top of it, making me look up quickly. "What's up with you, Jessica?" He asks. "You aren't yourself." Oh god. I can't tell him. Everyone knows that he's still crushing on Bella. Wait, this isn't me! I'm a mean spirited girl at heart. "Bella and Edward are getting married tomorrow." I tell him. His mouth falls open wide. I look away, letting him think I'm upset about it, and letting a nasty smile play across my lips. A cold sea breeze rushes over me, whipping my hair into a furious frenzy.
