Another Story In Another #life-2 Commander Brook Coast closed his cars front door while thinking about the last 3 months. Evans death was forgotten by everyone but Commander Coast, not a single trace could be found that could prove Evans existence. Commander Coast sighed and decided to think other things, other than Evan. He raised his head and looked at the giant white building in front of him, there were still 10 minutes to the meeting but he hated to be late. He climbed up the stairs and approached the two guards standing before the entrance. "Good morning Commander Coast." He greeted the guards with a nod and walked through them as quickly as possible after guards've checked his ID card. He wasn't in the mood to stay and chat, he was called by the supreme Council of Misron, the rulers of the entire nation. Commander Coast hoped that everything's alright, although the urgent call of the Supreme Council. He passed through the long corridor and arrived to the elevator. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: He opened the door of the meeting room and shocked to see the twenty three members of the Council. He was sure he've come earlier than the appointed time. "Come forth, Commander Coast. We were waiting for you." Commander Coast checked the clock hung on the wall to be sure he wasn't late. "I am very sorry I thought the meeting was planned for seven o'clock." The youngest member of the council, William Ferell nodded in agreement, "You're correct Commander but we wanted to talk to you as soon as possible. We've hidden something, that you should have learned earlier." Commander Coast raised his eyebrows in curiosity, what could that be? His question had answered itself when Commander saw the person who opened the door silently. He knew the professor very well. "Another human-weapon?!" He rose his voice in terror and turned to the Council members. "You're planning to create another? After Evan's death? After all those deaths? Are you not satisfied yet with the pile of corpses we buried? This is not an option anymore!" Professor approached Commander Coast, "Brook, I know how you feel... But it's different this time. This one will live longer, we're sure of that. New one is a female." "Female? You think her gender could change anything about the children's fate? Or the danger and stress she'll face through? Do you think any children could carry the burden Evan and the others tried to carry?" "That may be true Commander but we cannot give up now. The baby is already made with your DNA and currently alive." Commander Coast raised his eyebrows, "Made with my DNA? Alive?" William Ferell nodded, "Yes, that's why we hid her from you till the time is right." William Ferell observed the face of the Commander before continuing. "We know you still bear the pain of Evan's death that's why we didn't tell you about her... But it's time to accept her existence and believe in her." William Ferell pointed the door, "You may go and see her, the 24th weapon-human now." Professor put his hand on Commanders shoulder, "Do you want to see her? She's very cute." Commander clenched his teeth. "You had to stop lying to me Professor." Professor Landell nodded, smiling, "This was the last one, promise." Commander Coast took a deep breath before exiting the meeting room, unsure of what to feel about this new little baby brought to #life in a laboratory.
