Autumn/winter The sun shines through the scattered leaves, Falling, falling to be free, And when they meet their journeys end, The leaves above start again, Watching them twirl, them spin and dance, Leaving me in a starstruck trance, As I watch the beautiful, mesmerising show, The cold air begins to bite, promising snow, I tuck my scarf and coat up tight, Feeling the autumn winds tonight
