That this was better than the pain you were feeling? One word. Suicide. Nature boy how did it get so bad? That you felt you had no one to turn to? Grief is a funny thing. Everyone expresses it differently. Nature boy I don't understand. I didn't know you all that well. I knew you by the giant dorky smile that lit up a room. My Lit teacher knew you as the sweet little kindergartener who read to her all those years ago. Your friends knew you as a shoulder to cry on. Your teammates knew you as a talented athlete. Nature boy it doesn't make sense. Don't you see the tears shed for you. Don't you hear the sound of hearts breaking. Don't you know our school set up a triage center for kids to deal with your death? Don't you realize, Your dog will never be able to say hi to you Your family will never be able to take those awkward Christmas pictures with you You won't ever play the sports you love Ever again? I'm not a fan of fishing but it brought you so much joy. You could have caught the biggest fish of your #life today. But instead... Nature boy I saw your flowers twice today. Yeah so I'm just going to drop off the face of the internet for about a week. In the car driving to UST now. I can't say much or my irl friends (namely Tori) will fillet my face off. I'm not underestimating her either. I get the opportunity to hang on campus and take STEM classes. Only 80 girls get this opportunity every year that goes on resumes and college applications among others. It will come up in casual conversation, like: Mom: "Hey what's for dinner" Tori and I:"Oh I dunno" Mom: "What did you have at STEPS?" *tori rips my head clean off* Yeah. I'm screwed. Second Thoughts Talk to me please The longer I put off packing the longer I have to stay hopefully. I feel so bad about taking the spot. I'm 1 out of 80 girls picked but there are so many more wonderful ladies that didn't get picked and I feel really terrible. <3 AVenus BEX

A Note To Writers ATTENTION ALL WRITERS. *the following does not only relate to violent scenes so bear with me here. This is important. Comment your thoughts and if I should add anything.* "Violent scenes need to be a consequence of the plot and the act of violence needs to have a consequence." -a tumblr article Think about how the scenery might have changed now that there is blood everywhere or how anything else has changed because of the violence. It could just be an argument with a broken vase or as extravagant as blood and gore everywhere. Really annoyed with how some writers throw violence in as a filler or how after the aftermath (lol) everything is completely fine. Please, please, pretty please. I beg of you. Give your scenes substance, consequences, accuracy, and relation to the plot. Happy writing <3 AVenus BEX
