After Death-part 1 The seven deadly sins: -lust -gluttony -greed -sloth -wrath -envy -pride Everyone has one, It's what makes us human. The problem is the retaf's don't have any. Which, in this case doesn't make them humane. Theda was. And she had one. Envy... She would cry herself to sleep for she envied people with hardships and faults However her parents wouldn't allow it. She can't have faults she can't have an imperfection, and she can't have a deadly sin that makes us humane.her mother wouldn't stand for it. Soon after Theda found out, her mother raged In her room and Thedas father felt the wrath of her mother. The next day her mother was gentle and composed. She made eggs for breakfast and soup for dinner. Theda came in and saw her mother put pumpkin essence in the soup. She was allergic to pumpkin. Her mother knew that. Everyone did! She could die in a matter of seconds. She sat at the table, fingers trembling, she looked at her mothers sparkling eyes, she wanted to see her mother at peace... So she slowly drank the soup ,eyes never dropping from her mothers face. She began to cough and splutter while her mother just watched her with a passive expression on her face She fell to the floor thrashing on the ground and in her final few moments her mother looked down on her. She looked into her mothers faultless eyes and expected to see guilt and remorse...but what she saw was release like a huge weight was lifted off her shoulders. Her mother was at war with herself and she had finally put it to rest... As blackness began to cloud her vision she looked at her mothers spotless face and wondered what made her heart so dark. ....................a
