Youth I've watched my years of youth fade. Time never seemed to pass fast enough before, but now I can never seem to get enough. The longing for the #life passed has endured and attached itself to me throughout the years. There was a light I used to believe I could see when I was young, perhaps it was only ever make believe. Everything is fading now. Everything is fading now. I'm fading, and there's nothing I can do to stop it.

Maker She built you from clay. She carefully shaped your limbs, your smile, your eyes. She made you strong with fire. And she told you, "You'll always be mine." You happily believed it,  For she had even crafted your mind.  She made every little, beautiful thing about you. She raised you right. But your heart was out of her control. And on one fateful night, You met your doom. You took her home that night, Said you couldn't have imagined such perfection. She put words in your mouth and you stripped yourself of any true love. You unremorsefully said goodbye to your maker, And walked off a cliff, holding the wing of your love.  She laughed as you fell, and she flew too close to the sun. There lie two blinded souls, bounded by the holy union of death.

Whisper There was a time when the wind didn't whisper.  It didn't always speak, you know. There weren't always these voices- this emptiness. I'm almost sure that what I've heard this entire time was an echo... The sound of me crying myself to sleep. The sound of me promising myself everything would be all right. The sound of me telling myself I was overreacting. And, this wouldn't hold so much weight  if only these whispers were empty. Empty like the rumors you hear around school; You don't want to believe them, but you think you just might. They shouldn't hold so much weight, so much power over you, but they do. Because they're reminders of what you told yourself When no one else was around.

Biased Piece I didn't ask to be here; Do you really think anyone did? If I had the powers to change the circumstances of my birth, I wouldn't exist. Truth be told, I could easily end everything, But death frightens me too much, And I've already made my impact Upon other people - Our destinies are intertwined; Our paths crossed. You make a difference the moment you are born, Whether it be good or bad. And not one second can be erased Whether or not you end your #life. People are mistaken in believing the future has hope; It doesn't have anything Unless you decide it does. Your #life isn't in anyone else's hands: Not God's, not any immortal's, and certainly not any mortal's. The only thing you should fear is yourself Because once you go down the road of permanent self destruction There is no turning back.

Invisible I often find that I enjoy counting down minutes - counting down the minutes until I can leave; counting down the minutes until it's all over. I value the time when I can stop pretending to be numb or joyful or anything except sad because sad isn't what people like. People don't like tears. They don't like talking about #depression.. they find it makes them uncomfortable. They would rather be false then 'fess up to how they truly feel. I can only allow this darkness to linger inside me for so long. I can only hide my feelings for so long. The darkness needs an escape.
