To Need Love: A #haiku Please just let it rain. Acid drops on broken hearts. Are you flying free?
To Need Love: A #haiku Please just let it rain. Acid drops on broken hearts. Are you flying free?
Midnight How can I tarnish one of the only things in my #life that isn't vile? Could I realize I'm broken and find a way to reconcile? Sooner or later, I'll miss you and everything you used to be. Then when stars come out, and it's too dark for me to see, I'll numb way to easy and forget how to feel. It's when things go black, that things become real. The quivers in your lips tell me something's unspoken. The slight reassurance that everything I own is to be broken, Because I live by an unrelenting and unwanted pattern. Where all good becomes torn, tainted or tattered. C'mon, love, please, just last the night. Even when you know things aren't quite right. I just want undeniable proof that love didn't forget my heart And I just want my demons to quit tearing me apart. All the while, love, you claim your fidelity and promise #life. You swear upon the comfort I'll receive from you that I used to find in a knife. And you say I'm fragile and you treat me like a precious token. But have you ever played with a toy that's just to broken? I know by the time the sun wakes up, You'll realize how much space I take up. I know you still have something on your mind, And you know that I'm running out of time. You can't fight things that aren't really there, And you can't conjure feelings if you don't really care. You can't wipe my tears that aren't really falling, And you can't help carry weight that I'm not really hauling.
