Immediacies Why is it that we pursue the impossible and fly by the vital? To find ourselves, surely we should start with our immediacies: home; family; friends - art? It surrounds us as darkness swallows up daylight. Yet, we ignore the night in favour of the glimmers of today: fame; fortune; glamour - art; but a false art, with no positive force or significance. Why do we aspire to have such a position in society, when the true significance of self-identification is through the power of focus, creativity and tranquility? Through hardship to the stars, 'per aspera ad astra.' Let untruths be voiced, make of it what you will.
