Broke For Christmas Before anyone mentions - this is made up! ------------------------------- Sitting by the Christmas tree, Fire crackling away My uncle got me a present this year, But he got my parents to pay He's broke for Christmas you see Can't afford a thing He can't afford the fees you see To go carolling His house has no tree To light up the night Because he can't afford the fee So my Auntie starts a fight Why didn't you say we were broke? My family could have helped! But you'd rather let our wallets choke, And take what #life dealt! No my dear wife! He said to her I've got a job bringing money to our lives So we won't ever be sleeping in a door! I would never let that happen! Not to you or anyone I'd rather my world darken Than ever leave you alone!

A Child's Imagination A child's imagination Could teach so many lessons To so many nations Willing or not Because kids get what they want Every time they want it And parents can't resist Upset them - they can't one bit To do so is a crime To a crazy, sugar filled body Which can create games Out of the darkest of times We should learn from them And keep some childish ways The world would be brighter And wouldn't have so many dark days What I'm trying to say is Give your children that den Because they can teach you As much as you can teach them!

A Way Of Escape She couldn't take it anymore The hurting and the pain She'd found a way of escape But it brought everything but gain Her mother kissed her boyfriend While her baby brother cried She's the only one that cared If he lived or died Her mother went out drinking Left her and her brother alone Those two lonely children Roamed a twelve bedroom home They're mother bought them everything From iPods to gloves They had a very wealthy family And had everything but love All they wanted was a mum To be there when they hurt But all she did was abuse them To her they were as good as dirt So the daughter found a knife one day And thought 'A way of escape!' She dragged it across her arm A torrent of pain it made But the pain took her focus away From the problems in her #life So for the next few years She depended on a knife Covering her arms each day She made her way to school But when she changed for Gym The cuts were seen by a girl The girl told some teachers Who got in touch with her mum When she came to see them She acted like a nun She was suddenly the best the best damn thing In her daughters #life Pouring from her perfect mouth The lies were all too rife The school failed to act upon A mothers home abuse Of the trust from her children Until they got loose The girl taught her brother More than their mum ever did To never cut himself No matter if he could It wasn't worth the pain she said It just created more We may have had a mother But not anymore She's just in our memories Just a blur that's past We can shut this chapter And close the doors at last!

World In My Mind #projecthumanity I've been sitting here, Waiting, watching, Watching the years go by, I look at my watch, Where has time gone? I have been in a world of my own, A world of mysteries, Magic and glee, A world of happiness, Joy and love, Just to escape! But now I'm back, Back in the real world, A world of facts, Truth and #depression, A world of sadness, Solemn and hate! Why is this world so violent? So hateful? So loveless? Could it not be like the world in my mind? Where love prospered for everyone, And where joy conquered all, Where there was no sadness or hate, And everyone was happy! The real world is shit! Wars ravage beautiful land, While dictators kill civilians, Left, Right, Centre, The sea washes away millions of people, And earthquakes ruin lives. People are worse, With their Murder, Theft, Fraud, There is so much hate, So much sorrow, So much illness, Why can't it be simple, Why can't it be happy, Like the world, The paradise, In my mind?
