Tuesday Is This Week's Monday After a rain soaked Monday, I am getting a familiar feeling of another Monday. The one that comes after the weekend, when you are sitting staring on your computer at work trying to remember the fun you had over the weekend. The feeling that tries to drag you back from what you are doing. The feeling that makes a to-do list in your mind to plan for the next weekend. The feeling that makes the clock tick slower and makes you wonder the time is really going slow on a Monday. The wait for another Friday starts there. This week Tuesday is that Monday.
Toon For A Day Big day today in Premier League. Today there are two United. Making me nervous as I was for the derby game. NUFC are capable of getting something at St.James', and the prospect of finishing in the top 4 will push them harder. With Arsenal loosing ground yesterday, it opened up widely. This is turning out to be one of the best seasons. We are in the penultimate fixtures, without completely sure about who is going to win the league, without knowing who all are going to end up 3rd and 4th, the relegation fight. But today is all about two Uniteds. ‘there are only two Uniteds’ come on lads.
Rain It was raining all week, not continuously. But just enough to make you uncomfortable in your commute to and fro work. I don't think the rain was the factor that makes me uncomfortable, but it was the cloudiness outside. Like the face of someone you care just about to cry. I do like rain. As Charlie Chaplin famously #quoted: "I always like walking in rain, so no one can see me crying". Rain gives you that courage to let things go. Washing the sadness out of you. It promises a sunshine. Looking through my window, I can see it is not raining anymore. It's pleasant, yes I can see the sun shine.
