Amateur Dramatics I take a breath in, Feel my lungs fill with air. "Don't worry darling, I'm just over there." It's hard to bear this, This feeling of dread. I yawn, eyes well, Tired from tossing in bed. "Take the spot over there, Just there centre stage, So you can see everyone And their reaction gauge." The curtain rises up, I really need mum, I shudder slightly, When will bravery come? I fear never and I, will always be this way. And hope I'll be ill For the next school play!
