The Best Three weeks in, Three to go. Counting the days as summer floats by. It's skipped passed, I've barely got a glimpse of the relaxation And quiet it promises! The first week was music. Repetitive and tiring, They recon we played forty songs every morning. The trouble is there's only twenty seven tunes we could play. Week two, and we're bouncing from house to house, thank god for Friday- We're going to the Olympics! Equestrian dressage and Jasmine's ecstatic! Sunny and warm, Besides when it rained in the middle. We got our tickets signed; Amazing day! On Monday were back again, Synchronised swimming this time! I marvelled at the aquatics centre, And begged for us to come back when it's public. 'We'll see' she said. Off to Highclere Castle on Wednesday, Film location of Downton Abbey And the prettiest place I've ever been to! Shame we had to leave. Thursday now, and back to the Olympics! Athletics this time, With the best seats ever; Third from the front- Of everyone!! Watched GB relay, And the pole vault, The sound was epic!! Now I'm exhausted, But off to Spain tomorrow!
