5 Years In October. Anniversaries are sometimes fun, Others reminders of what's been done. Mine is approaching, 5 years in total, Seems like forever, Can't remember before. Five years ago in October, A headache occurred, Not long after my birthday, The truth wasn't learnt. Time increased, Two days, two weeks, My mother despaired, No one knew what to do, 5 years of pain, It's all I know, Fatigue and hurt, The doctors joked. I hate the fact, There isn't a cure, I hope for the day, Chronic Fatigue leaves my door.
