Saved By A New Friend (This was based on a true story) It was a Saturday afternoon at a pool party in Washington D.C. The guests had recently arrived. The smell of freshly applied sun screen quickly filled the air. At first no one was entering the pool but suddenly a small boy in blue swing trunks and green goggles jumped into the pool creating a large splash that spread over the children's heads and laid a heavy blanket of water on the kids standing near by. The incident cent all the kids grabbing for water guns and pool toys. The boy in the pool tried to shield himself from the squirted water and plushy pool toys being thrown at him. After the children ran out of toys they began to jump into the pool and splash each other. After the excitement settled down the children began swimming around and playing games. One girl was dealing left out. She was not the best swimmer and was afraid to go to the deep and because of the ruff housing. She decided she was not going to just sit in the deep end and have no fun, so she got up grabbed a kick board and slowly swam to the deep end. Afraid to get her mouth under water she made sure she kept her body on the kick board. The splashing and wild play became too aggressive for her so she slowly turned around. Suddenly she a child backed up onto the girl and she lost balance. The kick bard flipped over and began to sink to the bottom. A brown hairs girl saw the tragic event and swam as fast as she could. She dove down and grabbed the girl, dragged her to the shallow end and helped her cough up the water. The two girls were friends ever since.
