A Little Detective The sun shone through the depths of the sea. The calm waves lapped gently onto the golden sand. Chattery children playfully built sand castles and buried their parents. I was sitting on the sea wall peacefully eating my lunch. A lovely battered cod with chips to side. It was amazing. I was an only child and my parents were always working but everyday they gave me twenty five to thirty pounds so I could buy myself food and drink. They worked and worked my parents. Always came home with exhaustion all over their faces my dad sweating and my mum had cuts or grazes on her wrist or arm. It was awful! My family was very poor so my parents had to work twice as hard. That's why I loved today because the peacefulness and the happiness that surrounded me, made me forget about having a troublesome #life. It helped me remember that there is joy in #life if you just take a moment to look and think about it. But not every thing could stay like that. The horror happened next...
