Understanding Abandoned by everyone I knew, Left alone for anger to brew. What happened to me, why did they leave? Smothering darkness, can't seem to breathe. Hold on tight as nothingness looms, Crashes upon me and turns me to ruins. Scared and alone in a sky vast with stars, Painfully recalling long ago scars. I reach out to faith, to save me from sin, But it turns away, doesn't want me to win. I fall to despair, become twisted and cruel, If only I knew, I was being a fool. Taking the light and #life of those around, Letting the fire of hell be my hound. But one day the light through a smile was shown, And I understood that you reap what you've sown.
