It's scary nowadays...having to go to court used to be scary in itself, people used to be ashamed to have to appear in court - now it's almost ridiculed by the younger generation. An 18 year old girl appearing on a 3 charges of assaulting police officers. The girl in question sat down after confirming her identity and looked round to her boyfriend sitting at the back of the court...giving a smirk as she did so. A smirk. Not a look of remorse, nor embarrassment, but a smirk. Is this what society has come to?
