When I noticed a gold bullion bar in the £0.10p. Machine, Well I decided to take a chance. After putting a £5 worth of 10ps, this baby was mine. I was committed. Well I had there birthday meal money, an a bit spare so after relieving a hard earned £50, out my bank, I won this gold bar bullion bar. I could get these vans trainers for him for school. Whoo hoo! Pay my over draft. Have change too. Going home next day splash out too. Soon got my friends attention with the whoop of joy that I let out. He'd left me too it as he thought I had no chance of winning. When he left the mild negativity went with him. Told you I was committed. I though that was the greatest gift was to be helped in tough times. To my horror, straight away as soon as I felt it that it was not gold. My first grasp off hope was that I must redeem this, where do I go? So I spoke to the cashier, who told me that this piece of plastic was my prize. What I thought was to be a small ingot of gold, turned out to be a plastic replica. How my family laughed and that they were really sympathetic to my cry's of foul play, I still ended up with change out the £50. Still, had a good laugh about it, brought us a happy moment! Together. Well I'll have to save for the lads vans trainers. But that block of memory will be the first item I pack. Get this precious item home, to be told, sometime in some years, the story of how I spent a fortune to win a piece of plastic. But to me that piece of plastic, means more to me than gold.
