Fallen Dreams The tears swell up in a girl's eyes, On the verge of distress, Her arms open wide, Embracing the bitter breath of Mother Earth, Her eyelids flutter, Looking down at the scope of possibilities below her feet, The end of time, A simple step away, Her body as thin as a piece of tissue paper, Skidding over the waves of wind, Her body soars downwards, Her empty screams, Her fallen dreams.
