Train Journey Cu-clunk, cu-clunk, cu-clunk. The steady rhythm of the train was making her drowsy. Although falling asleep right now seemed like a comforting thought, she was hardly over come with enthusiasm to falling asleep on this particular train. A sea of intellectual heads bobbed about in front of her, the majority of them dressed in business attire. As she glanced down at the sweats she had thrown on only an hour before departure, she suddenly had the looming feeling that she was far too under-dressed for this train journey. Looking past the man in a blue striped shirt sitting next to her, she stared out of her window. The blur of patchwork field, after field, after train station, made a dizzy image inside her head, something that you'd imagine seeing on one of those over-prised 'twister' fairground rides. Thinking of the fairground, she realised that she was hungry, with an unexpected rumble from her stomach making her jump. She had skipped lunch, and dinner for that matter. But there was no doubt that once she arrived, a warm home-cooked dinner awaited her. One of the many things she had missed whilst spending time away.
