I would describe myself as a liberal Christian. I believe that the bible should be read with its context in mind. The core of my belief is the words of Jesus himself. I think it is significant that he never went around condemning people for what they are. But he did show a lot of people who were obeying the letter of the law that their hearts were not obeying the spirit of God's law. Basically, I believe Jesus' highest commandments: to love God with everything you have, and to love others as you love yourself..
