Empty My whole being is empty, Nothing within me exists, I miss the #life I once had, The #life where everything fit. My feet are glued to the ground nothing will get them to budge, I’ve tried to continue to move but I have gotten too tired to trudge. People have tried to save me They have claimed to be my hero, But after short time all turn out to be a zero. The people all abandon me They leave me with no hope So with a dangerous behavior I had learned to cope. With a blade in my hand and a tear in my eye I had cut my skin and had tried to get by. So now I’m stuck in this cruel cycle and I’m less than satisfied It just leaves me with the question how long till my last goodbye. So here I stand waving a white flag the game is over And I’m slowly giving up everything I had once had. But these thoughts are getting old By now I thought they all had been already told. But no they keep replaying And I can’t take it what they are saying. The words cut like a knife Right through my sad fragile #life. They tire me out until I can’t function They tire me out, save me from this corruption. Shake me awake Jolt me awake Do all in your power to help me escape.
