The Experience Machine I tutor. Today I decided to challenge my GCSE group to argue the case of the 'experience machine'. A concept considered by Robert Nozick. In the 'experience machine' the participant is given the opportunity to devise their perfect #life, all the sensations of #life would feel as real as if they were happening.. Etc etc. I genuinely thought I would get mixed responses. After all these kids are 15/16 years old... The only person in that classroom who said they would climb into the tank without a moments hesitation was me. I'm sure that says much more about me than about them.
