ONCE UPON A TIME
Once upon a time I wrote all of the time
Until Darkness swooped in and stole my rhyme
It was sneaky and it started Off slow
Stole all my light and all my word flow
Who I was faded into the black
I sunk into the ocean unsure how to get back
Drowning in a sea of thoughts that couldn’t be released
Alive but not really living as if I was deceased
The dark of depression taking over my mind
Anxiety imprisonment chains that can’t be unbind
But you see light does not exist without the dark
Hope can arise all it takes is a small spark
The fire and life can ignite inside once again
Just gotta get back up that’s where you begin
