Living in the present Here I sit all alone, Staring at the shell of a home. Looking back at the past. Realising it was never built to last. Thinking of the future, Of my new #life without her. A thousand dreams lost in the night. No more petty squabbles or careless fight. A new dawn is rising. A world of hope in which I’m smiling. My sins I’ve admitted. I’ve shared all the wrongs I committed. It’s time to rebuild. To live a #life that’s fulfilled. To acknowledge the pain, But never dwell or remain. Ive let go of any resentment, And I focus on living in the present.
