Tough Decision to Make How does one get someone sectioned if they're not showing signs of detoriation to the doctors? And the only way possible seems to allow for the situation to get worse and potentially put people in harms way before the services kick in?

It's such a hard conundrum. There may be crisis services in the area, which may have a differing opinion to other doctors. I've heard many stories in prison of failures within the mental health system. ð¢

@sammielee46 Unfortunately the crisis team keeps referring my sister to the gp..so it's absolutely crappy. The system is so dangerous in that respect, it's so frustrating. ð

You can self refer to the mental health team for CBT. She'll have a phone assessment and during that, they may then refer to other services. Have you tried that? If not, i can try and find the details for you. â¤ï¸
