Strangers Loneliness a word that expresses the pain of being alone and solitude describes the joy of being alone. I felt this joy on a train journey home, surrounded by strangers. I was judged and disregarded simultaneously. The pleasure of being unknown by anyone, of being part of a mass. People see me. No one knows me, I am secret.
