Sleep I have found a place That no one else knows A location just where Trees and laughs and flowers grow I know I am safe I am happy as can be ••• I have found a place Where I can mute all the noise Be myself for a second And stop believing in the lies I am away from the horror And I am in my own thoughts ••• This place, Is one of my very own Not a single soul Shall discover my heaven I know, As hurtful and dull It may very well sound, I am not living anymore I do not breathe, I cannot eat I am punished because of a smile I am prohibited to do the beautiful. I am surviving In a planet full of bad And I realize, That sleep is not sleep. It is my escape, It is my world. •••
