The 99% Homelessness. Home 'less-ness' - the biggest test, Without society breathing down your neck. I can be invisible here! No one looks at me, They may look near. But to actually hold a strangers gaze, Is a very rare occurrence these days. The gap is getting bigger, Between me and them, Between you and them... Between US and them! Not subtly, not slow, It's obvious, and it grows. Hour by hour the top gain wealth. And everyone else? They're left on the shelf! This isn't some kind of political plea, It's just pretty obvious if you ask me. Do the maths. Take a look. Add it up. What the fuck?! Housing, schools; #life out of reach, Deep routed division is what they teach. Of course it is - would you not too? If you had all of that to lose? So if you're sat here in the masses, Still clearly segregated by THEIR classes, That are supposedly a thing of the past, Is it not now time to act? But of course it's hard alone - just look! At those individuals who did stand up. Who voiced it loud and made it known, Just how far apart society's grown. They were of course rushed off stage left. Their words were hushed And silence kept. But I can't help think, if the 99 percent, Suddenly realised their collective strength?
