Recipes Cherry and plum pie Ingredients : 1 Oz of cherries 2 Oz of dates 3 Oz of chopped plums 8 Oz of puff pastry 1 and 1/2 Oz of icing sugar . Method : 1) Roll out the pastry and place in a pie tray . 2) roll the remaining pastry into a ball to store for later. 3) Blend the cherries , dates and plums in a blender and when thoroughly mixed , pour the mixture into the pie crust and put aside for later . 4) roll out the remaining pastry and cut out a circle of pastry about the size of the pie tray and place it over the top of the pie . With the remaining pastry , roll out a string of dough . 5) Twist the newly rolled out string of pastry gently and line the outside of the pie with it . 6) put in the oven for 30 minutes on gas mark 4 . 7) take the pie out of the oven and dust lightly with a third of the icing sugar . 8) mix the rest of the icing sugar with water until formed into a thick icing . 9) line the outside of the pie with the icing . 1 Bon appetite
