Beyond The Door A blinding light filled Tom's vision as he stepped through the huge, ancient door that he'd found earlier in amongst the ruins of an old villa on the coast of Spain. Once his vision cleared he realised that his surroundings had changed dramatically! The sweet-smelling, humid air hung over the flower-dotted plains he found himself sitting in, and leaves from the nearby forest sailed swiftly through the breeze-which was rapidly dwindling to a small gust every few minutes. As he stood up and began to wander around the area, he caught sight of a strange multi-coloured bird-like creature soaring through the cloudless sky At seemingly impossible speeds for a creature of it's size! Tom decided this place was full of wonders and brilliant things that he never thought he would see, but most of all, he wondered how he would get home... After a little while of walking-he didn't know how long because he didn't have a watch-he came to the remains of a ruined building, just like the one he'd found before he arrived here.Its mossy, cobbled walls stretched above him and the remains of a sleeping area hung half on the first floor, half on the ground.Tom came to an almost exact replica of the door he had used to travel to this strange new world he had come to,though, unfortunately no light shone through the cracks in its ancient, gnarled surface. *this is a W.I.P and may be changed so please do not comment too negatively as this is only a rough draft* Thanks, Jacob
