The Girl Who Got Hit !! Late last summer Ellie-Mae was hit by a car when it accidentally swerved off the road. This caused her to be paralysed for the next 15 months until she heals enough to go into surgery. She had broken her leg and dislocated her hip which was very painful for her and even though she wanted to be in her normal classes at school she couldn't, so she had to work in ILS because there are teachers in their who can make sure she does her work properly but also has the help and support she needs keep up the good grades.
