Baby, Please Stay... A tiny human. That's what I am creating now. Every breath I take, any food I eat, all the precautions I take is only to keep you safe. I need you just as much as you would ever need me. I imagine what you look like every time I close my eyes. Your tiny hands wrapped around my finger, your brown eyes sparkling like the gems they are. All I want to do is smell you, feel your weight in my arms, your warmth. But single day I feel a tremendous pain, from knowing you're sick. I won't ever get to hold you, hear your screams or bathe you. I won't ever be able to kiss your soft cheeks, or just stand over your crib to watch you sleep for hours. And the pain inflicted by that knowledge is more than my heart can bear. But still I cherish every single second I have you inside me. You're safe there. I feel your tiny feet kicking me, letting me know you're still alive. You make me nauseous in the morning, just to tell me that we need sustenance. You make me sleepy to remind me that we need rest. You'll be the most live memory I'll ever make. I love you with my entire body, heart and soul. Please stay. I'm begging you. Just stay with me. Hang in there.
