Family Cries We can choose our friends, but not family, ''they say'' , but I will decide my family my way... Sisters and brother of blood should be thicker than water, the hurt Ive been through is like a lamb to the slaughter. Mum and Dad fought alot, as the years of marriage laid bare to rot. Reunion years later invitations to send, how wrong was I that our relationships could mend. Now I know through my #life, that blood isn't always thicker and can cut like a knife. By Michaela. X
