Fear. Long ago I was afraid of all I do and do not know. Afraid to breathe. Afraid to play. Afraid to love and laugh and grow. And grow I did and did I play in many swiftly passing days. I was alone and loneliness was grown in flesh and heart and bone. Laugh I did upon demand when circumstance did so command. Smiles were just the masks I wore to stay the belt and switch and hand. Love I dared, upon a time and for a time the sun had shown. But hearts of fear are not long held dear and lost I love and hearth and home. All I've left to me is breath and fear is all I live and breathe. I've lost my #life to fear and now afraid I mourn and loathe and grieve.
