The Fighter Ace Over sky’s so clear and blue, I fly my fighter, as I hunt for you. You bomb my home, land and town. Above clouds as clear as snow, my emotions I do not show, We take to the skies, come wind, rain and snow. You fight for a ruler, who wants more and more, But its queen and country, I fight for. Your plain you fly, with such skill and grace, As you’re a fighter pilot, a true German ace. It’s you I seek, I’m full of fright, I fear you to be, my final fight. You hunt me, you seek me, you snuff me out, Over these choppy seas, we’ll fight it out. You aim, you fire, you miss and shout, For ammunition, you just ran out. I fire at you, and shoot you down, I start laughing, like a stupid clown. I was very scared, and feared for my #life, I thought I was doomed, so thought of my wife. I turn my tail, and head back to base, Now I’ll show them, that I’m no disgrace. I return with many kills, I’m the talk of the base, As I’m “Dogs Body” the British fighter ace.
