"Where I'm From" I am from crocheted blankets, from Oreo’s and milk. I am from the thorny rows of blackberry bushes. And I am from the roses whose petals feel like silk. I am from beef and Roti and hair that goes white fast. From all Girlie’s memories and French and Irish names. I am from lose of hearing, But not things from the past. From the goblins in the woods, and quarters in my ears. I am from back rows in Church, and the fear of ouija boards. I'm from everywhere on earth, and one place for years. Bits and pieces of ones #life, chunks of ones family, all together in one slice, which I love happily.
