My Double #life Ch.1 AMALVIA Long ago , the humains believed that other civilizations lived among this univers... I guess they were right. A lady who was claimed to have powers, was sentenced to be burnt, for the crime of being a witch. She protested as much as she could, but she certainly wouldn't tell the truth, since it would make things far more worse. A few minutes after they tied her to a trunc, they lit the fire ,and the wood under her feet started burning. The aching pain of the burns was to much for her to cope, as last resort to stay alive, she broke the ropes that tied her to the trunc with an unbelievable strength and ran off from the shocked witnesses of what just happened. The lady ran through the streets as fast as she could, even if this young woman was small, she ran like a lightning bolt. The police started running after her but no one was fast enough to catch her. After having turned around a forth corner, she started sprinting through the tall grass of a modest field. When she reached the other side of the field, a blurry circle stood in front of her, it seemed to be some sort of portal. She checked if anyone had followed her, or was watching her, when she saw it was clear, she jumped through the blurry circle and vanished from humain sight. She arrived in the midsts of a town, with small stoned houses painted in a creamy white and small shops around her, ladies dressed with elegant white dresses. As if they were to get married. A marble castle stood on hill far in the midst of the fog. This place seemed to be her homeland.
