Where We Met. There was a bluebird called Merry She had a daughter called Cherry Husband called Bren Who was a black wren And a lovely little sister called Perry They used to live on a roof But never knew the truth That whilst they were sleeping Everyone was weeping Mourning their dear friend Ruth So then they moved away In a field, where they shouted hooray 'Twas a lovely spot Till Bren got shot They moved before it was May So then they lived in a tree Where they met Mr Lee So they stayed there forever Above gardens of heather Where we first met, you and me.
