Mayra “Olivia! Where did you go?” Mayra called from the bathroom. I sighed. I mean, I love my sister, but this was undoubtedly another one of her experiments she needed help with. “What do you need, Mayra?” I called back. “The bathtub overflowed again.” With another sigh, I finished wrapping the Ace bandage on my arm and went into the bathroom to see what my little sister had done. And of course, there was, dripping from the bathtub and onto the floor, white foam. “What even is this?” I asked sighing again. She smiled innocently. “Hydrogen peroxide, dish soap and water. Oh, and some active yeast. Obviously.” “Of course. How do you plan on cleaning it up?” “You, silly,” she skipped out, with a smile to on her face. I sighed again. Mayra was a master at making people sigh. And making people do what she wants them to. She's only nine, so people think she's cute, but give her free reign, and she'll make something explode. Mayra is a prodigy. At age two, she was reading Shakespeare, and at age seven, she graduated college. At the moment, Mayra enjoys science. She'll disappear for hours at a time, then emerge from the bathroom, or the basement or sometimes, the attic, needing help with cleaning up the mess she's made. Anyway, now she’s gone and I'm left to clean up the mess she's made. This could take awhile. Might as well put on some music. I grabbed my phone and selected the “Mayra's Mess Cleanup” playlist. Headphones on, and one of my favorite songs blasted in my ears. “Mayra! I need to take a shower! Get out of there!” Pheonix called to my little sister. Pheonix is my older sister. She hates Mayra. Probably because of how smart she is. See, Pheonix is what someone might call, well, not smart. She rarely gets anything above a C. And Mayra is 5 years younger than her and has graduated college. There was no reply from the bathroom. Pheonix pounded on the door again. No reply. I started to panic. Mayra always came out when the bathroom was needed. Or at least answered.
