Pay With A #poem I wrote this In my own hand But words assemble Themselves unplanned I rally them ordered In the hopes that they might Offer some semblance And the gift of insight How about the words That you use everyday Reimagined application Of everything you say How about the words That you use all the time Reeducating our world To be tender, warm and kind Written for International Poetry Day - March 21st 2015 (Coffee shops in London were serving free coffee in exchange for one #poem, this was my entry.)
