Trust Trust is a fragile thing I do not easily share my secrets I'll rarely will divulge into my thoughts My soul is wrapped in iron wrought They never notice the sinful signs Throwing my meals away discreetly When I forgetfully roll up my sleeves They see the scars and leave To think you truly know me What a hilarious notion you keep You have no idea what I've been through People using me is unfortunately, nothing new Do you have any idea what it is like To face a battle inside your mind For no one to ask if you're okay I suppose it's always been this way But yet, they still ask with false smiles Smeared upon their faces Only though because they're curious Do they know that makes me furious Trust is a fragile thing I decided you were worthy Another foolish mistake You took something broken And somehow again it did break
