The Nobles CHAPTER 1 the news Tom was a a boy who dreamt for years to be just like his father. Well you see his father was no ordinary father, he was a noble. Someone who protects the village from any monsters which live around the edges of the village. A nobles #life is hard and takes a lot of strength. Even becoming a noble is one of the hardest thing you may of done all your #life. Tom was determind to become a noble but there was an age limit. When fifteen you can try out to be a noble but he was only 10. Years past, but at the age of 13, he found out that his father will be retiring. This was not good knews because how will they get money now. Tom sat in silence. One night his mother came into his small warm room and sat beside him. There was silence, until Tom's mother broke it by telling him what will father want. Tom thought about it and understood he would like him to take up what he did all his #life and become a noble. With that the decision was made and he got ready to awake bright an early the next day. CHAPTER 2 The task With a massive yawn, Tom awoke and looked at into the summer sky and felt the warm breeze blow into his face. Carefully he crawled out of bed, got dressed and packed anything he thought will be suitable for the day. You see now Tom was the perfect age. He just turned 15 a month ago and he was as ready as he will ever be. With big leaps, Tom ran to the one in charge of the nobles - great leader Oranee. He bowed down and asked " can I try out to be a noble, as my father was one you see and I watched him day and night saw all his skills." Oranee slimply nodded his head and swiftly started passing him objects. First was a book. It contained most of the mythical creatures and any other monsters known to mortals. Secondly he was given a small leather bag containing a sharp dagger and some simple tools to start a fire. Also there was the odd piece of bread lying in the corner. Finally Oranee spoke and whispered " to become a noble you need to get the diamond dust in the Malainion mountain , but it is guarded by a goblin. Defeat the goblin to claim the dust. Now you need to know how to get there. Here is a map it shows you the three main points. Drousy desert, Junalla jungle and the Malainion moutain. Those are also your camp spots. Therefore the whole quest will take you 3 days. Don't worry about coming back." With Tom drowned in information, he sets off with the old map in his left hand and the bag in the other. CHAPTER 3 The quest begins in the drowsy deserts. Slowely, he bagan to look into the horizon and saw the rocky path. It looked just like the one on the map so with that he headed towards it. When he arraved the path wasn't rocky, but sandy."This must mean" he thought to himself " that I must be going the right way." It took him a while when he could see the desert in view but when he did it was astonishing. There were great mountains of sand and holes like a meteor hit them. But he also knew, there were mythical creatures hidden in the sand. Unfortunally it was getting dark but wierdly the temperature didn't change - from 50 it was 39 degrees and the same at 80. Tom thought maybe now was a good time to make hos little home for the night. But there was a problem! It was a desert nothing grows in a desert so how is going to make a tent of some kind when there are no #life except some wierd mythical creatures but thats it. Then DING he got an idea! He will dig in to one of the sand mountains and when he hits sandstone just move some block, he would of carved out and put them above and in the entance so no sand can fall on him. He began working into the sand carefuly trying to move it out of the way. It took him ages. Well what seamed to be like ages. Until finally it was finished. Tom alight the fire. It wasn't because it was cold, but because he felt safer when he can see what was going all around him. He tried hard to fall asleep, but nothing worked. He moved left right even up and down and nothing worked. He knew he had to sleep because if he didn't he won't be able to go as far and then he will be in trouble. With that in mind, he slowly started to fall asleep. CHAPTER 4 The monster in the sands Tom heard hissing and it seamed to be closer than he thought. He heard the mythical creature or creatures slide along the silky sand. As quick as his hands can go, he skimmed the mythical creatures book and there right in front of him on page 320 was a mythical creature which fits everything that Tom can hear. It was the Scadilim snakes. It said that they only come out at night in packs of the same kind. They are small, but loud and can crawle under literaly anything. Tom felt a feelig of discomfort and slowly took out a match and lit it. There weakness you see is fire; they like the hear it is just the fire kills them in an instant it touches them. They are not fast, but can kill with one bite so Tom had to be carefully. Quickly but carefully he throws the match out into the night sky and he hears a painful shout coming from outside. It was so loud but it meant they were all going to die and he will be safe. He doesnt want one of those coming in and biting him. He'll be a goner. CHAPTER 5 a new day and a new challenge He awoke and was ready to carry on his challenge. He collected anything which he thought can be used again and with that he came out watching if anything was coming. Before heading of he double checked his map and in the distance he saw the path carring on. The heat beat him and the sand burnt him but Tom did not give up. He walked and walked and finally he felt the rocls of the path hit him. He was so delighted but he won't survive without water. It said that you can survive 3 weeks without food but only 3 days without water. He remembered that his father told him that there are wells plotted around the desert and some in the jungle. He started skimming his surroundings until, in the distance, he spotted a figure made of rocks. "That must be a well what else could it be" Tom thought to himself. He started to run, but he was aready being beaten by the heat it made it much harder. Luckely he was a good runner. He kept running. It was like running on needles but you can not stop. At last he was in front of a stone well and straight away started pulling on the rope and a bucket full of water came lifting out. Quickly he took out his bottle and filled it to the top and then drank and drank and drank until all the water had gone. He was ready to set of and back onto the path and head into the junalla jungle. He was ready and determand to succed! Chapter 6 The Next challenge As he reached the entrance into the jungle he saw trees behind trees behind trees and nothing more. There was no path here it just stops just outside the entrance so he will have to make his own way through. Tom tried to keep going on in a straight line but it was harder that it seems. He has to go round many clumped up trees and by now he had the feeling he was lost. Fear grabbed him and terrifing thought flew in. If he would lose his mind here hecwould kill himself! He has to calm down; and thats what he did. He lay against a tall tree and took some deep breaths and slowely he got there. After a phew minutes he felt itchy and wuickly looked back . And saw he touched a yellow substance on the tree! Not nowing what to do he quickly took out a guide book from his small bag and foud something on yellow substances and quickly read through while in a painfull itch. This substance is called ostaeric acidic paste and can only be found on the zevoo tree. To tale the pain away u need to find some mint leaves growing around and fast, as it give out terrorfiying heloosinations. This will quickly get to your mind and u will see things thats you would not want to see. It could kill you. Tom felt dizzy but still determined to find some mint leaves and he saw some. They weren't that far but his mind made them 5x as far. He kept falling to the sides and he saw trees when they weren't actually there he felt a wierd presence of someone evil; but of course no one was there . Accidently he fell onto the mint leaves and they touched his skin and ge cried out as the pain was umbearable. His whole body felt like it was being cut by the sharpest knives and ontop of that his skin stung like a swarm of bees are attaking him. He lay there for a phew mintues. Trying to hold in the pain. Chapter 7 A long night Th sun is soon to set so a shelter has to be buolt and fast. He looked around trying to plan a safe night until his eyes saw a tree and it was a tall one. It would be safe to climb up and tie himself to the tree with a sturdy fall like base below him. Carefull he climbed the tree and sat himself gently onto a very strong thicl branch and used his bag as a pillow and som
