Newborn Sky The first light of dawn Seeping through the shutters Brought by the sun Dragged over the horizon and into the sky The weight that burdens the sun The light and the glory Will tell a mighty story From worlds far beyond The clouds will be illuminated The sky will be bright And the wind and air Will be strong and brisk The sun is ascending into the sky Where it will illuminate the world And give us a new perspective Yet later it will descend into the horizon But then… The first light of dawn seeps through the shutters again
