The Healing River I'll tell you about a place A river A healing river That mends all scars And tends to all wounds A magic river That relieves all pain Thousands came To see the healing river And thousands after thousands it's healed All but one Whose pain was too deep Too raw to heal Day after day The person came And drowned his head in the healing river Minutes after minutes Holding his breath Nothing would change The pain in his head His thoughts His feelings Were still there The healing river heals all wounds But some are too great to heal.
