A Long Journey Looking through the window, Katie thought she saw a lone figure staring back at her. Suddenly, he was gone like he had never been there to begin with. It happened so quickly she couldn't remember any features except three blue rings spread out across his left hand. DING! The bell snapped Katie out of her gaze as she was dragged away to her next lesson. * * * Double geography, one of Katie's least-favourite subjects. It wasn't like she was bad at geography on the contrary she was actually one of the smartest kids in her year, she just found anything that wasn't PE incredibly boring. Katie was 17, a well built gymnast with curled blond hair that ran down over her shoulders, she had dark brown eyes, chiseled features and sparkling white teeth. She lived in the flat in Manor St with her mom. She had never known her father, her mother never talked about him and nonchalantly changed the subject when ether Katie mentioned him.
