Bread & Butter Pudding Ingredients: 4x eggs 300ml double cream 100g caster sugar 1 pint of milk Bread Butter 1x teaspoon of vanilla essence Instructions: Firstly pour the milk, vanilla essence and double cream into a pan, then heat on the stove until it boils then take off the heat and leave to cool. Get a mixing bowl and beat all 4 eggs until a pale colour, then add the caster sugar and mix thoroughly until it goes like a creamy texture. Pour the contents of the pan into the mixing bowl and mix for approximately 2-3 minutes so the mixture combines. Cut the crusts off of the bread slices and butter the bread, layer the bread in a deep baking dish buttering each side, after every layer of bread in the dish cover with the mixture so the bread soaks it up and then continue to add the next layer and so on. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes. Enjoy :-)
