The Melodious World The music plays, Reality delays. Getting behind, But I don't mind. The world in your head, Where nothing is said. Melodies and sights, Lit by lights. Sang by the skies, Never goodbyes. A childhood scene, That had never been. Flowing lines, Of different kinds. A drum beat drops, In my world it hops. With a circular pound, That slowly drowned. An energetic zing, Bringing my heart to sing. Trills of a xylophone, Taking me far from home. The golden trumpet roars, With triumph an eagle soars. It dips and dives around, Limitless places found. The song comes to its end, Until next time my friend.
